The 2016 Perseid Meteor Shower is off to a stellar start, and as per usual, NASA is killing it with their photo coverage, because well, they’re NASA. These 30-second exposures of meteors streaking across the sky were all taken by Bill Ingalls in Spruce Knob, West Virginia. We hope he’ll be uploading more to NASA’s Flickr account in the morning, after another spectacular night of shooting stars.

And if you’re wondering, “What are meteor showers, anyway?,” then check out this story by NOW.SPACE writer, Kasia Galazka.
